With a Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy Systems Engineering, complemented by a Technical Course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Valdemar combines a solid education with practical and investigative experience. Currently, he is deepening his knowledge through a Doctorate in Engineering, reinforcing his commitment to continuous learning and technical excellence.

Throughout his career, he conducted research at the Algoritmi Center of the University of Minho, where he dedicated himself to automation, control, and the development of innovative solutions, with a special focus on platforms such as Beckhoff TwinCAT3 and Computational Numerical Control (CNC). His teaching experience as a guest assistant at the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (IPCA) allowed him to share his knowledge and inspire new generations of engineers.

Among its main competencies are industrial automation, process optimization, the development and implementation of advanced control systems, as well as in-depth knowledge of instrumentation and sensing.
